Today we all looked at the sun though a telescope. (Don't worry, we used a filter.) I saw a few sunspots and noticed that I have a floater, which looks deceptively like a moving sunspot. While we were out there I also saw a Ladder-backed Woodpecker for the first time in addition to a box turtle and a Horny Toad (which is actually a lizard), that my sister almost stepped on. (Good thing she was wearing shoes.) Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture (smack). I also just remembered that we saw a collared lizard (the state lizard of Oklahoma) yesterday while we were hiking, which I was unable to take a picture of. Oh well, maybe I'll see more lizards before we leave tomorrow.
